Auckland, New Zealand—20th April, 2017—Chiasma Launch 2017 turned out to be a great night for the STEM community in and around the University of Auckland. On the 23rd of March, 2017, an attendance of over 150 students and industry professionals kicked off Chiasma's 2017.
Chiasma today announced launch events for each of its centres across the country. Auckland and Wellington launch events are being held on the 23rd of March 2017, and Dunedin is holding launch on the 24th of March 2017. The excitement builds as we welcome 2017 with each team, and begin a busy year.
Chiasma today announced the 2nd annual launch event for Chiasma Dunedin at the Centre for Innovation Seminar Room, University of Otago, at 5pm, on the 24th of March, 2017. The event will consist of, an introduction to this year's team, the 2017 events overview, talks from guest speakers, and networking over drinks and nibbles.
Chiasma today announced the 6th annual launch event of Chiasma Wellington, beginning at 5:30pm on the 23rd of March, 2017. The event is once again being held in the relaxed atmosphere of the Milk and Honey cafe on the Kelburn Campus, Victoria University of Wellington. The event will be an informal panel discussion with our key guests: Richard Furneaux (Director, Ferrier Research Institute, Victoria University of Wellington), Jennifer Anderson (Investment Manager, Powerhouse Ventures), Kevin Sheehy (Director, Genulin Interactive Healthcare Innovation), Emily Sulivan (Entrepreneurship and Marketing Manager, Viclink), Elf Eldridge (Programme Director - ECS First Year, School of Engineering and Computer Science, Victoria University of Wellington), and Ruth Fischer-Smith (MBIE). This will be followed by networking over drinks and canapés.
Chiasma today announced the 12th annual launch event for Chiasma Auckland, at 6:30pm, on the 23rd of March 2017, at the expansive Owen G. Glenn Building Atrium, University of Auckland. The event will consist of Chiasma Auckland's vision for the year, an overview of programmes occurring across the year, talks from our guest speakers, and followed by time for networking with fellow attendees. Our guest speakers are Colin Dawson (COO, Powerhouse Ventures), Will Charles (GM, Technology Development, Uniservices), and Graham Scown (Director, Return on Science).
